Magnolia 'Susan' 70-80 10L

A deciduous shrub, with light green leaves, in spring deep reddish/purple buds open to goblet shaped fragrant pink/red flowers flushed darker pink on the outside appear before the leaves. Hardy but like a sheltered spot the flowers may be damaged by frosts. Height approx. 2.5m width approx. 2.5m over 20 years. Likes a moist but well drained soil.
