Magnolia loebneri 'Merrill' 200-225 12L

A small deciduous tree or large shrub, with large light green leaves in spring large white flowers appear before the leaves. This variety has star shaped flowers. Hardy but like a sheltered spot the flowers may be damaged by frosts. Height approx. 8m width approx. 4m over 25 years. Likes a moist but well drained soil.
