Viola tricolor

A beautiful short-lived, evergreen perennial with spreading stems. From spring to autumn, multi coloured blooms are borne. These have dark purple upper petals, pale purple or pale-yellow middle petals and a dark yellow lower petal with dark streaks. A great addition to a perennial border or wildflower meadow. Also perfect for containers.
