Prunus ‘Accolade’

A small tree with overhanging branches and a broad funnel shaped crown to 7m. The long pointed leaves are green turning orange-yellow to red in autumn. The large semi-double pink flowers emerge in abundance from pink buds in April. It is good as specimin tree, hardy and tolerates all soils but prefers moist soil. Likes a light and sunny site, tolerates wind mix soil with a good compost and stake well.
