Fagus syl. ‘Tricolor’

A very attractive beech with a round, slightly weeping habit and striking variegated purple leaves. In spring the new leaves are a rose-like colour turning to purple-green with a white margin in summer and then bronze-gold in autumn. Prefers partial shade. Hardy tolerant of most soils as long as they are not too wet.
