Handkerchief Tree,Ghost Tree,Dove Tree. An attractive conical tree with red-stalked, heart-shaped, mid-green leaves. In spring small flowerheads are surrounded by two white bracts, followed by greenish brown fruit. Max Height 15m. Max Spread 10m. Flowers April to May. Fruits June. Full sun/partial shade. Hardy. Back-fill with soil mixed with peat substitute and a suitable fertiliser.
